User generated videos can be a powerful tool !
Websites offer many ways for visitors to leave feedback and participate in discussions. Examples of this are forums, message boards and feedback forms. Technology has improved to the extent that you can now leave video comments on websites! This can be a powerful way to engage with your customers and provide interesting information about your company’s products and services.
Imagine you are a florist and your customers upload a video of your flower products being used in their festivities. That video is an excellent sales tool you can use to convince visitors to buy from you.
In this video below, Andy Carvin of National Public Radio talks about a new project for user generated content where users can post their views on video and engage in a conversation. Andy was speaking at the February DC Media Makers meeting, held in Washington, DC. In addition, his website has a very good presentation on documentary story telling that explains documentary film making for novices. www.andycarvin.com/vlogging101/podcamp-edu.ppt

It is unlawful for a person in the United States or subject to the jurisdiction of the United States to knowingly provide “material support or resources” to a designated FTO. (The term “material support or resources” is defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2339A(b)(1) as ” any property, tangible or intangible, or service, including currency or monetary instruments or financial securities, financial services, lodging, training, expert advice or assistance, safehouses, false documentation or identification, communications equipment, facilities, weapons, lethal substances, explosives, personnel (1 or more individuals who maybe or include oneself), and transportation, except medicine or religious materials.” 18 U.S.C. § 2339A(b)(2) provides that for these purposes “the term ‘training’ means instruction or teaching designed to impart a specific skill, as opposed to general knowledge.” 18 U.S.C. § 2339A(b)(3) further provides that for these purposes the term ‘expert advice or assistance’ means advice or assistance derived from scientific, technical or other specialized knowledge.’’
Hizbollah has been designated a Terrorist Organization by the United States Department of State. Your association with an officially designated terrorist organization, coupled with your treatment of Geert Wilders, raises grave questions about Network Solutions.I urge you to cease and desist your support of terrorist organizations.

What a bunch of spineless, gutless, worthless losers you are. Our soldiers are making the ultimate sacrifices overseas to defend our freedoms, and you cower in fear. Absolutely shameful. You will never get any business from me, and I will be sure to notify the owners of any websites that you host.

Network Solutions should be ashamed of itself for its treatment of Geert Wilders and its submission to pressure by Islamic extremists. As an American I find it outrageous that an American company would even dream of subverting an individual’s right to free expression, and this before his movie has even been released.
If your management expected to slide under the radar with its gutless action your management was sadly mistaken and the people responsible for said action should be sacked now.
Network Solutions has given itself a very ugly black eye.

Will you resume hosting this website when the number of complaints about NOT hosting it surpass the number about hosting it?
“Network Solutions has received a number of complaints regarding this site that are under investigation. ”
Complaints about hardly any content, that has remained unchanged for over a month? What is there to investigate?
March 24th, 2008 at 4:57 pm
I find it absurd that a company would yank a customer’s web site a couple days before a movie was to be posted on it.
1) What took you so long to decide it needed investigating? It was a very simple web page that a child could understand.
2) Did you take it down because you’re being paid a lot of petrodollars or because you’re spineless and want to cave in to muslim demands?
3) Whatever decision you make, you better be damned consistent.
4) I encourage you netfirms execs to go read the definition of “dhimmi” because that is what you’ve become.
Shame shame on you forever, Network Solutions.
